Investigative documentary: Justice for Altantuya Shaariibuu

Twenty years after the brutal murder of Mongolian woman Altantuya Shaariibuu, questions remain about the truth behind her death in Malaysia, and whether power and politics have prevented justice from being served.
For this new investigation by 101 East's Mary Ann Jolley, Abata Media coordinated filming in France, working with French lawyer William Bourdon to explore key aspects of a case that continues to raise serious questions about political interference, alleged corruption and accountability.
From Mongolia to Malaysia, France and Australia, the film investigates the circumstances surrounding Altantuya’s murder, the alleged links to a controversial submarine deal, and claims by the convicted policemen that they acted on the orders of former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak, who denies any involvement.
